Hetch Hetchy and the Miwoks

Not long ago in the early 1990s Yosemite Valley and all therein was prestine. Then came the greedy White Person and destroyed all that was good. One of the most devious happenings in all of histroy was the flooding of the Hetch Hetchy Valley to create a large dam. All of San Francisco and the neighboring counties get their clean drinking water from Hetch Hetchy. This valley was very sacred to the Miwoks the First People of the area. This great Sacred Valley was flooded and the people who lived there for thousands of years were sent packing off their ancestral land. Do you think this is right?
